The land cover and land use classifications of the MapBiomas collection are based on mosaics generated from Landsat images. For each of the evaluated years, a specific mosaic has been created (1998-2022). Each mosaic is generated from a spatial integration of the different Landsat scenes present and a temporal integration of the scenes obtained in each period conducted pixel by pixel. These temporal intervals were defined in each region based on the ability to discriminate the main classes of the map to improve classification results.
The mosaics from MapBiomas Argentina Collection 1 can be accessed directly from Google Earth Engine by working region or for the entire country:

Mosaic Quality: The pixel value can range from 0 to 23 depending on the number of cloud-free images available for that year.
