MapBiomas Argentina brings together specialists from the country's various ecoregions, focusing on topics such as remote sensing, ecology, geographic information systems (GIS), and programming, focused on producing annual maps of land cover and use in Argentina from 1985 onward. We are a constantly growing collaborative network of NGOs, universities, and research institutes. Each year, the data is processed, improving the quality of the maps both by expanding the time period analyzed and by increasing the number of mapped classes.
